I would like to know the full prices of:
A unit to feed 8 people
A unit to feed 16 people.
Thank you
Hazel,
The cost of a Portable Farms installation to feed 8 people will be in the range of US$4,500 to US$7,000 depending on how fancy you want to make it. The enclosed area needs to be ~ 350sf. To feed 16 people double the size of the space. But build a building to house the larger installation will only add about US$3,000.
I trust this information is helpful.

I want to know of setting up a small system in Kathmandu, Nepal. Without Greenhouse. Maybe to save cost, we can start with two.

Can portable farms be housed indoors?
Are they all the same sizes?
Sean,
The Portable Farms® Aquaponics Systems can be housed indoors. They have been installed in garages, basements and even a living room. The size is determined by the available space. Most Grow Trays are 4, 5, or 6 ft wide and only limited in length to a maximum of 200 sq ft total per Grow Tray.
We trust this helps is planning your project. You may want to seriously consider the Aquaponics Course to get started.
